Enjoy :)

I'll soon start playing rather than just lurking as well. Might even be able to get a game in later today.

So after loading all of these maps. I do have some critique.

Desert Suburb: Vehicles on main road are not layering properly online. The Vehicles are being partially hidden by the road.

Railroad Outpost: Can only select Player Two and Observer for player options.

Train Yard: Can only select Player Two and Observer for player options.

Village under Siege: Can only select Player Two and Observer for player options

Beyond these all the maps are really nice and will add a new play experience for Malifaux Vassal.

the reason why you cannot select player one for some of the maps is because when they were made the maker was signed in as player 1. what this means is that unless he loads the map and switches to observer before saving it again, and distributing the second version, only that player will be able to play with that map as player 1.

Thanks!

And yea I knew that. I was just adding the critique in hopes that the map creators would go back and fix them. After all these are great maps and I'd enjoy using them.

They should be ok now. If something is still wrong, just notify me :)

Sorry to be thick, but in the end how did you load the maps in VASSAL?

Thanks!

Select 'Load saved game' when the wizard launches and select the (downloaded) .vsav file. Alternatively use the 'File --> Load Game' menu option. A map is just a saved game before the game happened (and with neither Player 1 or Player 2 selected)!

Here's a spot to share your map .vsav files with your fellow players. It'd be nice to have a picture of what you're posting, too, so folks know what they're downloading.

Here's my first map from scratch, the Desert Suburb:

Have you considered putting all of these on a public folder like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Skydrive ?

Public download sites do like removing files older than 2 weeks.
