Flyingwhale
So, I can't find this anywhere but what does suited defence do? For example pandora has a defence of 4 mask. Please help
sqir666
It has something to do with her triggers. Sadly, I'm not very familiar with pandora, but I'm geussing that she has a defense trigger that keys off of masks.
Omenbringer
Given that this is in Puppet Wars sub-forum I am going to assume you are asking about that game vice Malifaux. Suited Defense makes it more difficult to successfully attack a Puppet due to the requirement to not just achieve the number but also the suit. It is similar to the Dodge where you replace the Puppets Defense value with a card (introducing a number and a suit requirement) however doesn't require the expenditure of a card to do it. Keep in mind though that for the most part a Puppet that dodges is replacing his Defense with the dodge card, so wont get any suits associated with the Defense (Unless you have an ability active that allows it). Flyingwhale
Yes it was a puppet wars question. So what you are saying in the case of Pandora you would not only need to get a 4 but a 4 mask to damage her. AHH that means almost all of seamus crew you need a crow to damage them... yikes... Omenbringer
Yes you need to hit both the suit and the numeric value to successfuly strike a Puppet with a suited Defense (or one that Dodged). This makes Ace's very potent (as well as any Puppet ability/ upgrade which adds a suit to defense).
