Lenny is a reference to Of Mice and Men character of the same name who is a big, mentally challenged man who doesn't know his own strength and kills small animals by strangling them which is referenced in his abilities. I'm not sure if someone at Wyrd is just a huge fan of that movie or if it's the long way around for a Terminator reference.
