Lady Justice vs. Lilith Video Battle Report

I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been playing table-top wargames for about seven years now, and recently I've jumped into Malifaux. I've also been doing video-battle reports for a few years, now. So, it's only natural that I do a Malifaux Battle Report:

Lady Justice vs. Lilith

That's the first one. When I get more of my stuff painted I'll do another one. I hope you guys like it.

Great report, as usual (I've seen quite a few of your WM/H batreps).

I, too, recently moved into Malifaux, playing my Lilith vs. a friend's guild. From the half dozen or so games I've played so far, it would seem that Lilith was designed with a terrain - rich table in mind. In terms of pure power she's not nearly as deadly as Lady J; she relies more on her mobility and the ability to get where her opponent can't. Therefore, I'd say that your fight was somewhat unfair towards her, since on a flat table the Death Marshalls will always have greater range and hitting power than her brood.

I've actually played a similar match yesterday (brood box + primordial + waldgeist vs. marshalls box + executioner), where I was able to pull out a win through keeping my crew hidden away, my tots alive, and carefully picking my fights through a combination of slamming forests into J's face and one or two crucial transpositions. Even so, it was too close for comfort.
