RevYolution
I am just getting into the faction and had a question about Bete. Is she hired at the start of the encounter like all the other models or is she simply summoned when a model dies?
Shut Up
hired just like any other model, at a cost of 9SS however she is cannot be deployed on the board like other models, she has to enter play via 'drawn to death' if she was free with resser crews she would be a little OP
RevYolution
That is what I thought. Thank you
greg1394
I like to play her with nic...you can put her on when you turn a mindless zombie into a punk zombie Because you are sacrificing the mindless zombie..but ALWAYS keep a 10 handy ! letsallchant
alternatively, always put your 10 aside by itself. if you ever dont draw one, look relieved and put your lowest card away in the same manner. heheh my friend was like... well i know you have a ten there so i wont bother wasting my ap to kill bette.... sucker! morpsele
Love that you are playing with your poker face on. It's great that i'm not the only one doing a little misleading my opponent. I love to always suggest that i can bring her out even if my motive is to bring her a little latter. A little Dont' forget bete is always nice. sassylady
I love her too. I just tell my opponent to go ahead and kill her-she'll be back!
RevYolution
So I have still yet to use Bete but wanted to know how most people use her. I can see how good she can be in close combat with her triggers but is there any other thing that she does well?
Ausplosions
So I have still yet to use Bete but wanted to know how most people use her. I can see how good she can be in close combat with her triggers but is there any other thing that she does well? She actually works well off the board too. People will be hesitant to attack an easy to kill model for fear of her popping out. She is a fantastic psychological weapon.
Calmdown
So I have still yet to use Bete but wanted to know how most people use her. I can see how good she can be in close combat with her triggers but is there any other thing that she does well? She's primarily built for playing against people who are trying to shut you down or damage you before you engage, and/or people who generally don't want to be in melee. She's an attrition specialist. She gets extra-good against living models. Outside of that, she's just a decent beatstick who pays a couple of points for the privilege of her off-the-board and bury mechanics. Beware though that she doesn't hold a candle to the real beatsticks in this game, so don't try to match them in a one-for-one fight. She's just the best of the small number of good models we have access to. That's a bit of an oversimplification but that's generally the role she fills. Cyphre
I have a question regarding the :crows trigger that Bete has. If I get the :crows in the attack flip do both triggers go off or only one of them?
morpsele
you chose witch one you want
Cyphre
you chose witch one you want So I don't get both for the single :crows?
morpsele
No. I Don't have the Rule Manual with me but it is stated that you can only trigger one trigger at a time. I would advise you to look it up in the Trigger rule in the Manuel. Sorry I would have posted the page but i'm at work.
DeusInnomen
You can only declare one trigger.
Sezar
You can only declare one Trigger for each Duel (double ninja'd )
96p
Even if you would'nt, there'd be no sense in using both at the same time as slit jugular negates your dmg...
