graeme27uk Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Nicodem 1 Bete Noire 6 Canine Remains 2 Desperate Mercenary 6 SS cache Turn 1 Use Desperate Mercenary A to kill a Canine Remains (+1 cc) Use Desperate Mercenary B to kill another Canine Remains (+1 cc) Place Bete Noire where one of the canine remains was, activate her - use flurry to kill 3 more canine remains (+3 cc) Activate Nicodem - Use 4 cc to summon Rogue Necromancy, and one other undead (or a mindless zombie for Nicodem to start meat shield) Or do I summon 1 Flesh Construct and 2 MZ's? Does that tactic work? From then on in you can use Bolster Undead and continue summoning, if necessary can kill off the DM's and the remaining CR's for more summoning. Quote
morpsele Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 There is the part where Bete Noire Flurry that dosen't work. It is said that the 3 attaques from flurry are done on the same model so you can't target more than one Dog. Quote
graeme27uk Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Posted April 12, 2012 D'oh... so is there any way to attack more than one at a time? I guess I need someone with melee expert or fast. Or... DM 1 kills DM 2... then summon Bete Noire so she gains fast... then 1 AP kill Dog 1, 2 AP kill Dog 2, Fast AP Kill Dog 3? Quote
morpsele Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 I think what you could do is kill the first dog with dm1 then kill the 2nd dog with dm2 then spawn her and kill one of the dm with ether a dog or her so she can get fast. If i'm not mistaken (i don't have the card with me) she needs to be in play to get the fast bonus from a kill. Quote
Mr. Bigglesworth Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Def stance dogs and have them attack each other works charms. As for list no doesn't work well at all. You are back a turn, second summoning isnt hugely reliable also summoned creature is within 6" of nico, and slow. Basically what you summon will not be in the fray. Quote
Fetid Strumpet Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Also if you want to kill all the dogs bring something that can actually do it with one activation. Have all the Dogs go Def Stance and then hit them with a Punk Zombie Aura, Sebastian's Bloody Harvest, or Rafkins Poison bomb. Quote
SoulG Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 This doesn't work... as you posted it. In Turf War and Reconnoiter, it is efficient to use - Datsu-Ba - 4 Canine Remains. Nicodem keeps using Arise and having the mindless zombies attack each other or a Gaki attacking the MZs once. Datsu-Ba keeps making 1-2 Gaki per turn and sending them to table corners / opponent's side of the board. Outside of that? The only time the hoard tactic will be useful is with aNico and Rafkin, and even then only with certain strategies. Quote
