earthfade Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 I fought against Kirai for the first time last evening and had a few questions. Her pitiful..do I have a to a WP duel everytime I target her? [ex: activate flurry so 3WP duels for all 3 attacks?]. The Onyro (?) has a spell thats gives a to the target on its duels involving spirits... can this be cummulative? Meaning he cast it on me 3 times with diffrent Onyros so I have 3 Neg flips that turn? Thx Anything else I should look out for or that is commonly misunderstood. Were both new players. I'm using Collodi btw. Quote
Ratty Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Effects with the same name don't stack so no, you could cast it 12 times on the same model and you would only get a single . Quote
earthfade Posted April 9, 2012 Author Report Posted April 9, 2012 excellent, thx Anything for the pitiful question? Quote
rancor709 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Pitiful is for any declared action against her. So you would need to test everytime she is the target pitiful as a result much stronger than terrifying Quote
dunce002917 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Hmm.. finally, another awesome use for my Watcher... Quote
durek Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Something our group ran into with new Kirai players is they seem to think she is a natural Spirit; but is a spell she must cast to get that effect. Quote
Pharon Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Pretty sure Collodi and his crew are all construct, hence rendering him immune to WP tests and duels, which would include Pitiful. Quote
vitriol Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Models with the construct or object characteristic are immune to morale duels, but not willpower duels. Quote
Fetid Strumpet Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 And Immune to Influence wouldn't do anything against pitiful either. Immune to influence only protects you from being the defender in a WP duel. In a pitiful duel its an opposed WP check where the model with Pitiful is the Defender. Quote
