Maxing out the bodyparts using the nurse & McM

Zombie Chihuahua uses Magical Extension to cast wracked with pain on target. Chihuahua gets 1 BP.

McMorning uses wracked with pain on same target. Kills it and during his activation moves over the CC (possibly with scalpel slinging) +3 BP (1 from Wracked with Pain, 2 from the CC)

Mcmorning uses scalpel slinging to get to the zombie chihuahua and hits him with the strike (+1 BP)

McMorning uses either Dissection or another strike to kill the chihuahua. Either way (+3 BP)

Leaving McMorning with 8 BP on the first turn and ready to summon a Flesh Construct or a Rogue Necromancy beginning second turn, whenever it would be tactically advantageous to do so.

I thought there was a way with the nurse to get more. I can get 5 just from the Chihuahua, and not killing a second model.

You can theoretically use Massive Dose to make the model unkillable, and then beat the snot out of it with everything that can claim Body Parts off it. It gives you a lot of parts from a single model, but is pretty inefficient AP-wise.

I agree in general, but if you include Sue in list, I'd say 3 SS of the Nurse is paid for giving him reactivate (then he shrugs off the sacrifice part). If used with McM for body parts turn 1 it pays for 1 or 2 SS of her cost. That effectively gives you a free significant model for objectives late in the game.

I played yesterday McM and the nurse, and would of had 8-4 end of turn 6, but we had turn 7, were I lost INI and Levi and his waifs activated killing Mcm, Flesh construct & guild autopsy who where sitting on my Claim jump, Breakthrough & Claim Scheme (forget name). I was able to get back to 6-4 with only my Nurse left in play because she was significant.

asuming you have a zombie chihuahua, a nurse and sebastion (for me the only 'if' there is the nurse) it goes like this

0) deploy with mcmorning nurse and sebastion in basecontact witht the chiuhuahua (or at least in melee) and more importantly nurse in base contact with seb and mcmorning.

1)activate nurse, cast massive dose on chihuahua, using painkillers (wont die)

2) activate seb, make three melee attacks on the chihuahua, hoping for/cheating crows for piece for me.

3) use (0) 'for you master' (give McM the BPs)

4) activate mcmorning, cast wrack with pain, using masks from hand or (if your lucky) flips to trigger scalpel magic for free strikes, also use a BP to gain fast if you have a 6+ any suit to guarantee a wrack cast as there is a chance to flip a mask triggering scalpel magic, use (0) for scalpel slinging

5) activate dog, use warck with pain on mcmorning (hes gone so no (0) wont hurt, and 2wd is easy for him to shrug off) and then sack for 2BPs

using this sequence the worst payoff (including black joker on an attack flip from Mcm's scalpel sling and a failed cast of wrack from the chihuahua) is; seb-0 (no crows in hand, no crows flipped) McM-2 (no masks and a BJ on the slingin) chihuahua-2 = 4 BPs, however the bad luck required is fairly bad however it does highlight this method is fairly suit dependant

Absolute best outcome (3 crows for sebastion, 3 masks for McM) is; seb-3, McM-6 (3 wracks, 3 hits from scalpel magic, 1 slingin attack and -1 for fast), chihuahua-3 = 12 BPs from a 1ss model

I have used this a few times and I must say unless you have some devious plan for the nurse (im looking foreward to using sues shrug off to great effect :P) this trick doesnt realy warrant taking one, especialy as she ditches harmless in her first activation. also it is quite suit dependant i can count on one hand the number of times ive got 11 or 12 BPs from this, however i quite often clear 9 (did somebody say rogue necromancy!) and definitely clear 6 (flesh construct + fast). in most scenarios this isnt a viable tactic without a post-dog-mullering plan for the nurse besides dog missles (never worked for me) and you can get screwed by bad suits (oh how I love playing rezzers!), however if your looking for a theoretical limit on BPs form a chihuahua id say 14 (12 + 2 from a double punch from rafkin) but that list would be wholely based on doing it, not for playing a game.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. I think the nurse can be worth it if you have Sue at the same time, still not sure on Sebastian . I prefer Mortimer which can give you 2 with a corpse token. I find he is better in the long run.

Also I usually like to have the totem go first with Def Stance and use the extra cards to cheat down. I'll work with this list and what I think is the best cost benefit, Ideally you need 9 on start of turn 2 for fast and dropping a rogue necromancy.

i find you only want to be faffing about making counters during one turn so mortimer as a 'long term' solution never realyapealed to me, once McM gets stuck in he is swimming in BPs, turbo-ing BPs off a chihuahua works because it lets him get a costly summon turn 2-3 with the parts form a 1ss model. i also find exhume to be difficlt to use, you need the low crow (which in hand = 1BP with sebastion when wailing on the ZC) to guarantee you actualy get anything and you also need the card to cast the spell (7+).

you must also consider the rest of the game, seb costs 1 less SS and his bone saw is nice, only cb5 but with melee expert, an arc of 3/4/6 (weak dmg 3 being awesome, as any guild player will attest) and bloody harvest (1) pulse 3" dmg 4 (admittedly needing a 9+ to cast but on the plus side its magical damage) he is worth his cost on his own, without all the turn one BP shennanigans, mortimer, i am less than impressed with.

on a vaguely related note, as hard to wound 1 wd9 and df 5 hes not as hard to kill as id like, usualy going down turn 5-6, i find using a nurse to reactivate+awesome cb etc. makes him a complete beast. if you have cards in hand to do it, 2 melee attacks and 4 castings of bloody harvest will be worth the 6SS right there and then.
