Sholto Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Got these ones painted up for a tournament on Saturday. Sue needs a bit more Dullcote, while the camera was a bit blurred on the Librarian. Quote
krax Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 nice colours, especially the ronin looks great with a face full of character ---------- Post added at 09:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:00 AM ---------- nice colours and great face on the ronin! Quote
sarge Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Lve your work. Great stuff with the flames on Sue's guitar. I left my flames off because I didn't like the look for the flames...but yours look great. Quote
ZimmeZitron Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Have to say I like Sue a lot. The lightning effects are very nice. Quote
Math Mathonwy Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Great work! Sue looks brilliant! The lighting is a tiny bit grainy near the end of the sleeve, but other than that the effect is impeccable! And the black from the front looks very, very nice (the back is impossible to say since there is some glare in the pic). I love the trim on Ronin's jacket, though the shading could've been a tad more defined. Now the jacket looks done in a different from the rest of the mini. Also, the colour of the short could've been a bit further from the colour of her skin, though that might just be the picture. The overall feel of the mini is great, though, and she has a fun expression. Librarian looks somehow very aquatic in those colours. Not saying that it's a bad thing, necessarily, mind. Her knife is awesome! Quote
Saint Norton Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 I love the librarian, between the turquoise coloring and the subtle verdigris on the brass it is very reminiscent of an olde timey deep sea diver. And the ronin is very bubblegum-pop, I swear I had that girl work in my office before, and she was dumb as a brick... Quote
DeusInnomen Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Love the blue effects from Sue's guitar. And yes, Dread Ronin (what? she's got dreadlocks... ) is very expressive and well painted. Very well done all around. Quote
Stern Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 Brilliant work there love the choice of colours you have used... Keep up that good work Quote
