Lady J and extras

Hey all, ive been playing outcasts (Viks) for a while now and ive just ordered the Lady J box set. The gaming group i play in usually run 25 or 35ss games, and was wondering what would go well with Lady J.

I was looking at the hounds and on paper they look effective, but how do they fair in game. Also is the Judge worth it?

Lucius and a Student of Conflict are common additions to a Lady J crew. The ability to slingshot Lady J into the opposing crew is awesome.

Some folks really like The Judge with her as a 2nd melee beat stick in the list although I personally prefer The Executioner. Both have their selling points but I place a lot of stock in paired weapons.

If you're bringing Lucius than Guardsmen models are a must. I personally like Guild Hounds, Austringers and Guild Guard in my lists. The exact combination depends on scheme.

Also, a Witchling Stalker or a Drill Sergeant for a little condition removal is never a bad idea. Plus, Watchers make great objective grabbers.

What do your opponents normally run? Perdita? Dreamer? Levi? Zoraida? Pandora? Lilith?

It can depend on what they take.

I really like the fluff of the Judge with the lady so don't like leaving him out - also find his spell adds an extra element to the crew with some magical damage.

I also like running the Death Marshals to buff each other and the models are great.

I've been told the Guardian works well to help keep her alive.

Also like running the Brutal Effigy, more magical attacks and the ability to heal your crew.

Yeah caught red handed bro. Don't fear the dreamer anymore since he was errated.

Try the boxed set with the Executioner tagging along. See how that goes, work out what you are needing then expand the crew.
