UK question - display bases

Does anyone know of a company in the UK that does display bases for models? Basically just chunks of wood but preferably with some interesting knotting. As an example, the base that the guy on the left is standing on:

I've never seen anything like that commercially available, they've always been made from scratch by the painter.

Those guys do some resin ones, unfortunately i imagine the wooden ones are largely custom built.

Depending on the size you need, I've always thought the lids of coffee jars had potential. There is a surprising variety available which are octagonal etc - not all of them are round.
