The Pandora player makes the damage flip with their cards so I'd say control changes for the purpose of Duty You don't control the model - it's not making a Strike against itself, for example. Self Loathing just doesn't have a fixed damage profile, instead adopting whatever profile the opponent's model has on their melee weapon.
