Rannith
A quick question for the Malifaux boffins, there are bases shown in the pictures on the Ramos crew box that I have not seen in the shop, are they available for sale or were they scratch built jobs? dsmiles
I'm using Black Cat Bases' "Cog Floor" base inserts. They're fantabulous. (Yeah, I just made that up. That's how I roll.)
mythicFOX
My old Ramos crew's on the Power Plant Bases from Micro Art Studio. IMHO spiders look great climbing over them. I've also been looking online at these from PK-Pro, they look sweet. Link to the black cat bases dsmiles mentioned above.
dsmiles
Link to the black cat bases dsmiles mentioned above.Thanks. I was mobile posting again, and I still haven't figured out how to put in links on my phone. My whole Ramos crew is on those, and my Mechanical Rider will be, as well, as soon as my Black Cat Bases order comes in next week.

Speaking of witch to get, do you know anyone who does lava bases? I was contemplating that for my Criid crew. Regards Rannith
dsmiles
Well, Micro Arts has Chaos Bases that you could paint up to be all lava-y. (I used these on my Fire Gamin, and painted them up to glow from the inside.) Black Cat has Volcanic Earth inserts. I didn't really see anything on Dragon Forge, but you can look. Omenbringer
I like the look of the Micro Arts Old Factory Bases for the mechanical crews. Now I just need to get my Pimp Named Leveticus crew prep'd, assembled and primed.
Todd
I pretty much love Black Cat's entire line of bases, except for those cog floor ones (http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=444_618_631&products_id=2782). They just don't make any sense. What's supposed to going on with those? Are the cogs fused to the stone? Are they supposed to be functioning parts or just debris? It looks like they took their ruined temple bases and just added cogs in a completely unrealistic non-functional manner. I haven't seen any painted up though, maybe that would make a difference. *Jack*
Think its just meant to be debris, but yeah, agreed, they look a bit pants Finding nice bases in 30mm is a pain sometimes :L But that companies quite nice. It'd be useful if we could get a list of all 3rd party companies with bases suitable for malifaux... But I'd feel a bit rude doing it on wyrds forum Especially when they have their own competing line. Ah well.
Todd
Don't feel bad, we're buying competitor's bases to base their model's on after all. Also, Wyrd's line is bit limited right now. I've bookmarked quite a few base companies over the years. I'll see if I can't compile and post them.
