Fairly new to Malifaux and Puppet wars ;) but not to Miniature games.

Never blogged before so please be kind with any comments ;)

Just a suggestion, for whatever it's worth, but it's always a good idea to post a pic or two if you have links to a blog or photo album. I myself, and others according to some different threads I've read here and there, will most likely not click on any links if I have no idea what I'm looking at (lazy, but true.) I understand that people want others to check out their blogs, but enticing them there I think will produce better results. But when I click on a post about painted miniatures, I'd like to see said miniatures, although to be fair it is better that "Dudes, I have an awesome idea for a conversion, pics will be forthcoming soon!" I'm highly unlikely to revisit that thread.

And by the way, some really nice starts on your crew, looking forward to seeing where you go with them and thanks for sharing.

I too had problems with pics when I started here. My solution was to upload everything I wanted to show to Picasaweb, and create albums for each thread.

The second problem i had was I would right click the thumbnail and copy the URL to paste into the 'Insert Picture' icon here. This meant that all my pics were very small (because they were still thumbnails). With a bit of help and advice from some clever people here, I realised that I had to open the pic in Picasa before copying the URL and now success!

I have noticed over the last week or so - since Wyrd did the Xmas snow (which was great by the way) that peoples' pics stored within the Wyrd site are often failing to open - hopefully this will be rectified soon but in the meantime I would suggest Picasa or similar photo sites to upload to.

Hope this helps and keep posting!

just click on this icon:

upload01.jpg

and copy paste the url of your image in the window that appears...

upload02.jpg

and your image will appear. :)

also, you can do it another way. Click the icon to the top and right marked with A/A that changes the mode you write your reply to code. then you can add your url within the %7Boption%7D tags
