PokerCat Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Just wanted to drop a hello. My name is Paul, I've been playing various miniature games for far too long (I started with Battletech/Mechwarrior in the late 80's, took a 10+ year break, and then started to playing Warhammer/Mordheim, in '02, 40K in '07, and Heavy Gear Blitz in '09). My buddy introduced me to Malifaux a couple of weeks ago, and I have been busy reading the little rulebook, and drooling at the models. I have purchased two of the boxed sets and hope to receive them soon. I hope to be active in several of the forums, especially the painting forum. Cheers! Quote
Ratty Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Welcome to the forum filthy inferior cat thing. I know there are quite a lot of players up in Canada, check out the Henchman List to see if there is anything going on in your area. BTW which 2 sets did you pick up? Quote
PokerCat Posted December 26, 2011 Author Report Posted December 26, 2011 Hey! The Henchman program has no one in my area doing it. Not sure if I can do an event a month right now, but it is intriguing. Not a bad suggestion from my potential dinner... I picked up Seamus and Rasputina box sets. Let the flame wars begin... Quote
EvilGinger Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 be careful with ratty lest he do unto you what Jerry did to tom, he is an evil and devious ratty. Quote
TheOneWhoFell Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Welcome to the forums, PokerCat! Bears are more dangerous than rats, everyone Herr knows hat Good choice on the box sets (though Guild is WAY better ). They should keep you busy for a while!! And don't mind RatMan... He misplaced his Cheese Quote
EvilGinger Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Agree about the Guild & TheOneWhoFell for explaining why Ratty was so well ratty of late Quote
