Fetid Strumpet Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 Personally I don't think Candy or Kade offer you much direct synergy if you are going with a Dreamer Crew. If you are planning on stayin with the Neverborn faction as a whole, I'd keep them. If you are planning on just sticking with the Dreamer I'd ditch them. Either way I'd say you'd want at least one set of the twins. Past that I'm not sure if you'd need anything else really. Ratty Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 I thought the same but actually Kade is not awful in a Dreamer crew as long as you have a Teddy.. the Teddy drops in and attacks then Kade swirls with him and gets an extra attack in.. or just gets your Teddy our of the way. Its a cool idea for an all "kids" crew, but the Dreamer really needs his nightmares to work well. Keep Teddy as he is a great punch in this list, and playing up to 35 points your essentially there: Neverborn Crew - 35 - Scrap - per Ratty's Crew Creator The Dreamer -- 8 Cache 2 Daydreams [4ss] Coppelius [9ss] Stitched Together [5ss] Stitched Together [5ss] Teddy [9ss] I would add in a couple Alps (1 packet of 3) and a package of night terrors for some flexibility and fun if you expand. The Twins (Lelu/Lilitu) are also very good with Dreamer, but you will see them a whole lot. They give you more control and another hitter, but you need to free up 14 points to use them. 2 Alps or 2 Night Terrors can be plugged in easier than the twins. This is correct. The only rule Dreamer has relating to what he can/can't hire is a hiring restriction on Mercs in a scrap. I'd recommend the following for starting off: Dreamer/LCB 3 x Daydreams 6ss Coppelius 9ss 2 x Stitched Together 10ss Teddy 9ss Total: 34ss This gives you a half melee, half ranged list with a good number of tricks up your sleeve without being too difficult to learn. From there if you want to expand, I'd recommend picking up Lelu and Lillitu (at least one of each to start), an Insidious Madness, and a few Alps. I'm not a fan of the Alp bomb, but picking up a pack is a good idea so that at the very least if you ever summon one with Coppelius, you'll have the model to put down.
