Emp
I just was wondering if there are basic colorshemes that are manditory for playing with the different crews. I mean, do you have to use certain colors like say when you are playing the blood angels in Warhammer 40k. My Ortega family arrived yesterday and I started painting them today. I want to give them an dirty western look. Lot's of brown, grey, brownish green, ... Kind off like the colors of the clothes when you watch Deadwood or Unforgiven. They way it used to be What are your thoughts on this?

Lheugast
I'd say no. I've seen a lot of different colour shemes for the different crews and all (okay, lets say most) work fine. I've seen Perdita in all denimblue, brown pants-plaid top, a pink top and who knows... it gets "worse" with the likes of Seamus: bright green, lilac, purple, checkered or black/white... it really is up to you here ^^

dsmiles
Hell, I painted Perdita in black chaps and a white top. Hoffman is done up like an old sepia-toned photograph. I have three different color schemes for my three different witchling stalker poses. Lady J and the Judge I stuck close to the scheme in the book only because I liked it. Paint like you've got a pair! :happypuppet1
Bigkid
For the Ortegas I would apply lots of red to indicate all the blood what will be pouring out of them when Seamus gets hold of 'em!! Or maybe a Sister Sledge theme.....
Dolomyte
Ice T Video I just watched that on tv like 3 days ago, a certain game designer must be watching TV at like 4am. As for the paint scheme. Paint what makes you happy. I've seen people paint Blood Angels blue, black, white, and even pink.
