Darios
That hat is both epic and hilarious! So it's not just me i guess... *g* And the rest of it is really nicely painted too. Thanks for the kindness!

Darios
So finally after a months time full of doing demos, painting contests, semesters end and a week of holidays from the cruel place called "reality" (LARP is great for that) again some minis finished... So say hello to Mr. Oogie & Mr. Boogie! they were fun to paint and will be even more fun to field ^^ my regular Raspy player might think otherwise but hey... it's "bad things happen" not "happily ever after" :Confused_Puppet1::Confused_Puppet2:
Viruk
The pics are a bit small but from what I can tell they look great!
Darios
klick on it and it grows large... ^^ as usual with all my pics!
Viruk
I know, I cklicked but still it could be a bit bigger Anyway, looking at the level at which your previous works are painted I've no doubt these look great irl too.
Darios
well... that sort of irks me... i'll try to get a bigger pic up in time!
Darios
So today i want to start with a bigger pic of the stiched as many complained that the original was too small: And then next up, is the lovely Lady of the Night.... Bête noire! I might do this everytime now, Music matching the minis (or inspiring me to paint them rather XD ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQZbgCPF7vU&feature=related Comments appreciated! Viruk
Thanks for the bigger picture - they do look nice! And Bete is also pretty cool - great mini and your painting does it justice.
Darios
so I asume the size of Bête's pic is generally more acceptable? Then I'll stick to that size...
stochastic
I was also thinking about Oogie Boogie man from Nightmare Before Christmas, when I saw Stitched Together. I sure hope that someone wil paint em' glowy-green, would love to see that. You are doing a nice work with the paiting, I am amazed! Keep it up! Darios
Thank you! Actually i was considering doing them eerily green but in the end i thought: "stick with the more classical theme"
David.Hanold
Sweet color selection on the stitched together. I like the purple and green insides.
Darios
well i wanted to keep them a tad away from the "gore" painting of my rezzer models... so had to differ the colours there a bit.. qutie liked the way it worked ^^ and besides: rotten stuffing ahs to be a bit "urgs"
benhur
Darios minis are just awesome. I have the priviledge to see them all the time in the table (most of the time dying under my Raspi's curses ) and they looks even better alive!!! Darios
@ benhur: thanks for the sugar... @ Thread: finished my Ronin today.... Varnish did mess them up a little so i had to fix that in an impromptu way... as always click on the pic for a larger Version C&C welcome! Demonn Agram
They suck. toss them into nail polish remover and redo them immediately!! Like them! I generally like your style with the stark contrasts and the bright colours! keep up the good work
Darios
@ Agram: As you wish o Master of Colour! I shall cleanse them in an insant! @ all: i noticed that the Groupshot for Outcasts and Rezzers seemed to be quite outdated... and as i had good sunshine today and the Minis with me i just did some new ones... morpsele
Love the Ressurectionnist Photo. I wish i could paint like that.
ttsgosadow
Looks great! I especially like the vibrant colours. The, almost toxic, green on the grass works great with the miniatures. Are that pieces of the 40k building set you're using for the bases of the Outcasts?
Demonn Agram
awesome! (although you didn't chuck some away :-P) great job and thanks for the group shots. I'm a sucker for them...
Darios
@ morpsele: well, it is not that dificult acutally... just take your time... and do them one by one... i paint about max. 3 Malifaux miniatures a month and i try to learn new stuff with every miniature... from there on it is easy... just repeating and learning and practice... i painted quite average for most of my gaming life... but since about 5 Years i try to improve it constantly... @ ttsgosadow: Thanks, jup they are. i made a Tutorial on some of my bases once, but in German *g* if you wish i could try to translate it someday..., and i thought about tuning the grass down or switch coulour alltogether but i think the contrast suits my painting style so i kept it ^^ @ Demonn Agram: well, me too... i just hide it with the good cam of my girlfriend... the pics are 1 of about 20 taken... so much "dead shots" there... dgraz
These are some very pleasing crews to look at. Especially all together. I love when the crews have a nice coherent theme throughout. From the colors to the bases you've got it down. I love how the Rezzer bases have the little pumpkins on them. Darios
i actually niked the idea from a good rezzer thread (i think it was rameses) and as i just love pumpkins and love the strange funny/horror touch the rezzermodels have i thought it would work well. (besides i have a faible for horrorpunk an halloween ^^) edit: found the thread... wasn't rameses (but a good thread nevertheless!) it was Koyote Edited September 28, 2012 by Darios
