FYI the painting contest is going to be best single painted miniature and decided by group vote. Those that might be interested in just entering the painting contest may do so. Entry fee is $5. Note the $10 entry for the tourney includes this. Fool Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 Well, I was thinking about playing, but as it has been 10 months since I last played, I think it best if I get some practice in first. It would not be fair to my opponents if I had to be constantly looking up rules and re-reading my cards to figure out what they do. Hopefully next time. (I will be at the store, though. I will be there for a different game.) Have fun twisting fate, everyone. It's been a year for me and I'm playing! It would be great to be done by 6 too! Please free up my slot and hopefully will be ready for the October tournament! How put together are your models and what do you play. We might be able to piece together something for the tourney between the people there and what you got. There is always fun tac to keep them together. I've been very looking forward to coming and meeting the Chicagoland peoples but unfortunately some slackers at a job I'm helping fill in at called out for tomorrow so I have to go in and cover for them. Mydnight Posted August 20, 2011 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 I should hopefully still be in attendence, even though I will be bringing along pgbsamurai and fetid strumpet in spirit. The only thing at this point that could change that is if I wake up and my ankles are dead (turns out 40+ hours across 4 days of climbing up and down ladders to repair satellite networks puts a lot of strain on the ankles).
