Naravus
Just started working on Contract Town #56, aka "Desperation". Some spires of rock have been made for LoS blocking as well as this graveyard: I'll be adding a sort of mausoleum or shack on the top of the hill with a bunch of graves on each tier. The entrance will eventually have a broken down wooden or iron fence. I haven't decided which yet. Any idea on how to fix the rear of the graveyard? It ends rather abruptly. Initially, I had intended to add support beams to make it look like the builders had cut into the hill, but at this point I'm not sure no. thatnicguy
I dont think it ends too abruptly, with a little mausoleum as a nice centerpiece it should look well balanced, its looking great for initial construction! Do you plan to put some kind of texture over the pink foam walls? Iv never used that material? Can you just paint it as is?
Yazza
another contracttown, cool what did make you choose 56? any significance?
Naravus
While you can paint the pink foam without doing anything to it, it looks better once its textured or otherwise based. I've already cleaned up the edges a bit more and spackled the entirety of it. #56 was purely an arbitrary number. I would have done 19, but I think that is already a contract town in the fluff. Yazza
what way will you go, just simple terrain pieces on a board. sculpted board with structures you can move around or dedicated board with the structures build in it?
Naravus
Like my 40k table, this will be fully modular. So sculpted board that can move around as well as the terrain features on top.
Naravus
Yazza, are your boards 3x3 feet or 4x4?
