Mimic Magical Extension

Can the doppleganger mimic magical extension and have it actually work? I would think not since Magical extension includes the phrase " Cast one of the CONNECTED MASTER's Spells" and the doppleganger isn't connected to a master (only a totem is connected to a master)

It could 100% copy the Spell, but when it came time to use it there'd be no connected Master so fizzzzle.

I think not as the Master connects to a totem on hiring, which the 'ganger can't do.

So you could mimic it if you like, but when you go to cast it, Magical Extension will look for a connected Master, of which there is no such thing, and simply have no effect.

I suppose it could be used as an alternative to a pass action, if it tickled your fancy.

You could also argue 'connected master' is a name (or at least a reference to a specific model)
