Inari82
So we had 10 players for our very first tournament which was great. This was initially suppose to be a test run on how to run future events, but with all the interest it actually turned into something more substantial. So here are the pics, First the tables First the Goblin Village Scale for the tree Next the Badlands Mountain Tops AIIIEEEE!!! We got the Bayou. The Industrial Zone And my pride and joy, the Sewers of Malifaux. Discussing sewer tactics Collette playing with LCB Ramos and C. Hoffman can stop breaking each others toys Kirai stalking the sewers Cassandra putting on a show for Ramos Kirai and Sonnia stare each other down Ophelia and McMourning playing in the sewers All in all I think everyone had a lot of fun. Big thanks to everyone that helped with the tournament, building and setting up the tables, running it and coming up with ideas to help run and improve the future tournaments. CrimsonWraith
That tree is huge! The sewers are awesome! Puts the sewers I am working on to shame. Same modular idea, but way weaker on the walls. I am stealing that and a couple other idea from those for tables I plan to build. Thanks. Which crews were there? How did they place? Must... have... details! Glad it was a success. Edited April 22, 2011 by CrimsonWraith
Inari82
We had ten players playing ten different crews. Here's what we had: Lady Justice Sonnia Cred C. Hoffman McMourning Kirai Ramos Colette The Dreamer Ophelia The Victorias <-- what I played We played the same 35ss crew the whole time, though I don't have everyones lists, a mistake on my part. Though here are the top three: 1st - The Dreamer (surprise?) 2nd - C. Hoffman 3rd - The Victorias I think this was a great success and we learned a lot on how to run these events an hopefully it will go even more smoothly. Inari82
As for the sewers. They were quite intimidating. No one had ever played on a table like that and so when everyone saw it, everyone was talking about how to deal with it. In the end crews like the dreamer and kirai that can just float through intervening terrain had a distinct advantage. If we run it again I think some table rules will have to be established.
