Mako
Its an important skill, BSing! Very useful in life, unfortunately. Well, I've laminated my cards now. Just got to get the several hundred shine has and do those at some point. I think te time for a cup of tea to relax.

Mako
Well, he's paying for the sheets, so its just time on my end. And I'm always good to put a bit of time in for people. Might take a while though, so he's going to have to provide a list of priorities lol.
Mister Monkey
So how was everybodys day?
edonil
Yesterday wasn't too bad. Very boring, but not bad. Welp, I just bought in to Infinity... >.< Took so many years, but I finally bit the bullet and bought the Tohaa starter.
Mister Monkey
Why Ed?..... Dont you have enough to play? (psst let me know how it is *grin*)
edonil
I have a good friend who already bought in, and my brother is in love with the Military Order models. I'm gonna replace Dreadbowl with Infinity for now, lol. Plus, I want to try to get one of these: And it'd be perfect for Infinity, Killzone and Malifaux...so might as well go for Infinity and Malifaux to use on it! edonil
Also, I read over the rules a long time ago and found them to be pretty simple once you figured out the system, so it looks like fun. And the Tohaa are just pretty models. Humanoid aliens, which look just off of human to make the brain do a double take.
Mister Monkey
Saw that terrain yesterday, is very cool stuff.... Fair enough, most people I talk to around here say it is overly complex but I have never tried it. Do like some of that faction that I likes models though.... edonil
It's complicated if you're looking at something like GW. If you've played DnD 3.5, it's about that complexity level with only the Core Rulebook access to special rules and abilities. (not spells, that's a whole other boat of trouble)
Mister Monkey
Fair enough, there is a group who do play so might try rustle up a demo at some stage.... but too many games already and a lot of my close gaming mates have already decided its too hard. edonil
Yeah, that never helps. Well, our local gaming club in general is starting to evaporate thanks to a lot of stuff that actually isn't club politics, so it's looking like the few people I know who play things like Infinity are going to be my only players...so might end up getting a new 'basement club' going for pick up games where people just say 'bring this to my place, board is set up'. Mako
That sucks a bit, life dragging people back to the real world? I'm resisting infinity. Until I get all my malifaux painted, no more game systems. Except maybe (and only maybe!) DzC. Though I do like the Aleph. AArgh! *runs off with fingers in ears shouting to drown out the lure of infinity*
edonil
...(watches Mako calmly) Huh. What's eating him? And no, I wish it was something like that. More shop politics involving the owner, lol. Hopefully it works itself out, but if it doesn't... well, life gets complicated as a Henchman, lol. I like the Aleph a lot, I just don't think I'd ever enjoy painting them. The Tohaa will be fun, though. Just need to resist painting them like Asari. Mister Monkey
Basement games was the way I was looking to go, until my mates set up the club two minutes from my place that dragged me back to the club scene. Some games (fantasy, 40k) will remain only to be played in the comfort of my basement though..... *finds himself looking at the Adriana figs*
edonil
Ah, the kilts... lol. Honestly, I think the only army in that game that I don't like the aesthetics of are the Combined Army.

Mako
Wow, henching sounds like a part time UN peacekeeper task at times! I've not had much experience with lousy shop owners luckily, I bet it causes no end of trouble in the group. I have a Maruts TAG back home I won in a painting contest, might bring that back with me in april. Though I'm pretty sure I've got plenty to paint already this year. Trying to think of a good pose for my justice portrait that's not just the book art. Any ideas?
edonil
Have her kneeling down on one knee, sword pointed down in the ground next to her with one hand on the pommel. Make her look like she's resting.

Mister Monkey
Really? SAS stands for Special Adriana Service a throw back to the Special Air Service set up during the second world war (truly I read the history of this and the guy who formed them was plain nuts) And a balaclava is the knitted face mask with the eyeholes....
