bowchikawowers
Nicely done! Great depth to the fabric and I love how you shaded her eyes. I have the same critique about line variation again, so I won't harp on it too much, but I would like to point out that you get a much more dynamic drawing if you incorporate varieties of line thickness. Victoria
I'm just doodling, so I'm not really thinking about composition.
bowchikawowers
Oh ok. you'll have to show us a real drawing sometime. critiques are wonderfully useful things for improving.
Victoria
What I really am is a photographer! But I will try to draw the Viks up nice and non-sketchy for you. <3 Then you can critique away! (I have a hard time spending more than half an hour on something, though - short attention span!)
Mako
Doodling is fun, I approve of the half hour attention span limit! Hehe.
edonil
...now I'm thinking I met you at some point, Victoria. I feel like I saw your last name on a badge at Gencon...
Victoria
Maybe at the raffle? Both my hubby and I won something (he won the first thing) and people stumbled over the last name both times.
edonil
...That's more than likely it...
Victoria
Unless you were the person who taught me how to play the jetpack unicorn game?
edonil
Unless you learned on Thursday in the Event hall, doubtful. I did teach three games of that on Thursday, but after that all I taught was Malifaux.
Victoria
Nope! I did that on Sunday while I was waiting for the raffle.

Mako
Using models? What silliness is this?! ---------- Post added at 02:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:40 PM ---------- I've just been working on a design for my friend's tattoo, he wants it of his clan badge but modified, it's proved tricky in places... After that, not sure what to do with the day. SO many choices.

edonil
Honestly, I'll probably be working on homework for at least part of it, lol. But, after that I intend to work on revising Archangels and see if I can't polish that up.

bowchikawowers
Oooooh Victoria those are BEAUTIFUL photos and nicely composed! My youngest sister is an aspiring photographer and loved them. I hear you on the short attention span, I have one too. I deal with it by working on lots of things at once, and shuffling through them spending between a half hour to 5 hours on each depending on how well I'm focusing at the time. I have managed to work on one thing for a marathon-like 9 hours while I was in school. It was a printmaking project and I was having so much fun with it I didn't realize I was hungry until someone called and asked where I'd been all day and if I'd eaten anything. Then of course I realized I was STARVING and had to scrounge for anything edible because the cafeteria had closed an hour ago.
