otherdave
Hello again! Rather than clutter up the board with a series of new threads, I've decided to compile all my posts from now on in this one. This is Suzanne, a Performer in Collette's troupe of illusionists: You can see more pics and some painting notes here, as well as follow my progress as I finish these beautiful little sculptures. http://valeuretdiscipline.blogspot.com/2011/02/deadwood-dedications.html Edited February 28, 2011 by otherdave Updated blog
zKoTTe
It looks good, but try to put some water into the paint to get some smoother high lights

Maybe I need some new paints; some of my Vallejos are 15 years old.

otherdave
My first completed Shogirl: I am loving these scenic inserts. They really finish the figure IMO, and add weight to the model, making them more like double-weight chess pieces. My one beef a typical hot dog packaging problem. The bases come in five-packs, and the Starter showgirls box has six figs... That's OK, says I, I still need the Coryphee and three Mechanical doves... crap that's five more figures! I guess I'll have to scratch build a base for Collette after all. Edited March 2, 2011 by otherdave Added info

Absolution Black
Very nice. I agree about the base thing, but thats life. Anyway, I'm sure I'd soon use them up on some other models!
Stern
Liking them showgirls t'otherdave... put mine to shame! I'm loving them strippy socks.. I may have to copy that!
yetischool
I'm loving the girls so far. I am a big fan of the colors your using; not too brightly colored and very realistic in terms of the world in which they would exist.
