Crooked Grin
I want to make a victorian style gaming board and terrain for Malifaux and I found the pics on this page: http://gidian-gelaende.de/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=216&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sid=82fb170d7e5e8f73280a13bcbcbf9d25&start=180 As I have not played Malifaux yet, what do you experienced players think of this board? Is it good enough to play Malifaux on? Is it too cluttered?
Yazza
Awesome board Thats totally usable
Wodschow
I was going to say way too much open board at first, and then I scrolled further down and saw the multiple levels. And further down and saw that it was only 1/4th of the table. Aside from appearing to be 4'x4' I think that would be a perfect table for Malifaux, the sewer part might be a bit annoying to play on if there's models on both levels (but that's not especially Malifaux-related). Doctor Amos
Play it and find out. Other than that, yes, good jorb.
Crooked Grin
The terrain in the link isn't mine, I just would like to do a similar type of terrain (not necessarily with ruined buildings) but I was wondering if it maybe was too much terrain for Malifaux. Don't think such a thing exists, the more terrain the better
Cassarus
That is a great looking table!
Lord Shaper
Damn that's a lovely table... We tend to use some more terrain than that but it's totally playable!
Kaane Feinwong
Agreed with a few of the others. You can't have too much terrain! That's an awesome layout.
Doctor Amos
When in doubt, just remeber: open fire lanes are a terrain feature.
Ciaran
The cool thing about a set up like that is you can still fill it with more terrain. That's just the big stuff, add in carts, cars, apple vendors, etc... and you're in for a great time. The river is especially well done! This really is a great inspiration piece. Omenbringer
Awesome board that will provide many tactical challenges for players. You may want to add a few turns (2-3) to the game though because of all the levels involved.
