Koyote
Lovely work. I especially like your idea for dangerous terrain -brilliant! My only critique is that in order to interact with the Scrap Pile special terrain feature a model's base must be completely within the Scrap Pile. This will be hard to do with a pile with such steep sides. I suggest that you put the pile on a larger base, so models can stand adjacent to the pile but still be on the pile's base and thus qualify as being "completely within the Scrap Pile." praetorian13
poop Since I have never played I did not realize that. I may have to put a larger base on it. I'll ask the customers what they want me to do.
praetorian13
Another piece done. This is made from styrofoam cut with a hit wire. The ares where the stones are in matrix I gouged out with a knife to leave the chunky geode like surface. Once it was painted I added soulstones made from broken up chips taken from colored swizzle sticks. I found them in a party store on clearance for 25 cents a pack, enough to keep me in crystals for YEARS!!
praetorian13
Here is a sample of one of the flat islands. This one is a "corner peice" and will be used to put other terrain on. Next is a magic dead area. I modeled it using Apoxie Sculpt 2 part modeling compound. I used photos of drought stricken land in Africa as a model. Still have to finish the pig sty and make a hanging tree!
Omenbringer
You have some excellent ideas for the special terrain pieces.

Koyote
Yet another brilliant idea of yours that I am going to swipe. However... Umm... The maximum size of a Soulstone Vein is 2" x 2". I suspect that the size restriction reflects the degree of advantage one can reap from it. Perdita can pull out 3 Soulstones a turn from it. If her totem and/or Abuela 'obeys' her, she can pull out a fourth or a fifth. Edited December 15, 2010 by Koyote
praetorian13
sigh I did not realize it was a maximum Some say "at least 3x3 or some such. I need to read more carefully. I am coming at this as an artist/painter rather than a gamer whose ever actually played the darn game!
Nemissary
This scenery project is truly inspiring! :top: I love it!
praetorian13
Here is a gremlin pig pen. If I were playing it would be dangerous terrain (except for Gremlins who might get a bonus to not take wounds)
Doctor Amos
Gremlins are probably more likely to get eaten.
Darguth
Gremlins are probably more likely to get eaten. This. But if one of them does get eaten it would be good humor for the rest of the Gremlin crew and perhaps apply a slight benefit for the next turn
praetorian13
Here is the island for the creepy house. The outhouse hangs out over the bayou and sticks on with a magnet so as not to worry about breaking off. The house is free standing and can be removed from the island. Omenbringer
The hanging Outhouse is a cool idea for sure. I might have to include that in my swamp table.
praetorian13
OK here are the revamped scrap pile and soulstone vein. 2 more items to finish and it is ready to ship!
praetorian13
OK I created this from Apoxie Sculpt. I liked it so much I made a mold and poured duplicates in resin. This is the first duplicate all painted up. I imagine some friends will be getting some for Yule, then I may throw a few on Ebay. It is 3"x3" and you can stand on it. Did I do one right this time??? praetorian13
Final shots before I ship tomorrow. Gremlin board and a swamp board with a graveyard and a spooky house. Thanks for reading and offering suggestions and rules clarifications. Still working on a hanging tree but needs more work.
