Doctor Amos
Malifaux takes something from everyone who visits it, some more than others. For the woman who would become the notorious Bloody Seamstress, it began by taking her young husband in an unexplained mining explosion. Then, her dignity was taken from her as she was forced to work as a seamstress to support herself, darning socks for those Guild officials too lazy or self-rightous to do it themselves. Then, it took her health. A slow, wasting blight took hold of her, first on her fingertips, then spreading through her hand and arm. The illness prevented her from performing her meager proffession, and it seemed as though the end was near. Lacking any other options, she prepared herself to beg before the one man who might save her, giving the last shred of self she had to the talented and reknowned physician and scientist Doctor Douglass McMourning. He, however, took something else from her instead. As it happened, the doctor was looking to expand his ability to stich living and undead flesh together, and the woman's case proved to be just the excuse he needed. He sedated her, brought her to his hidden laboratory, and then amputated her arm. Over the following months, he experimented, grafting new flesh to the withered stump. McMourning intended to dispose of the woman in the sewers, as he did with all his patients who knew too much, when the experiment proved successful or too difficult to continue. The woman, however, proved to be something special. Rather than the abject horror and revulsion McMourning was used to, the woman was lucid, inquisitive, and seemed to have an intuative grasp on the necromantic arts. When McMourning finally created a working necrotic graft, Madelyn asked if she might help him aquire further subjects. Now Madelyn stalks the streets of Malifaux at night, gathering a grim harvest. Her long darning sheers now serve as surgical instruments, severing flesh and even bone with a long snip. She will take back everything which was taken from her, take back all the misery and pain Malifauz has given her; piece by bloody piece. Wodschow
Interesting.. I like the concept and the background Curious to see what the crawling hands are like. Ruleswise I'm a little worried about the potential of Stitched Monstrosity, but I realize that this is what she's got going on for her and since you omitted her cost it's hard to judge. Anyway, again nice concept!

Anyway, again nice concept! I tried to limit Stitched Monstrosity by giving her Bored and Lonely. And I never give SS costs with my creations, I let other people set the limits. It keeps things more balanced, and keeps me honest.
hippieshopper
It's just a humble suggestion, but maybe have a ratio on stitched monstrosity... like for every 2 or 3 BPC I agree, I want to see these hands. Maybe a choke ability... I think Tiny fits well too

I think Tiny fits well too Well, at her max of 6 BP, she has Wk/Ch 10/13, Cb10 and Wd15, with the understanding that she's holding 6 soulstones worth of tokens and that gaining the extra wounds from the ability doesn't heal her, it just raises her maximum. Is it too much? I would lower her Bored and Lonely threshhold, I think, rather than do a ratio.

Wodschow
Well, at her max of 6 BP, she has Wk/Ch 10/13, Cb10 and Wd15 Which is pretty crazy.. No other model in the game has that high Wk/Cg value (Zoraida and Coryphée come close), only a few other models can ever hope to reach such a high Cb count (Lady J, Bishop and Nursed up Punk Zombies) and Wd 15 is far beyond what we've see this far. Well anyway.. I think modifying the Wd like this is a bit strange.. It's like Fortify Health in the Elder Scrolls if you played those games.. She can take an amount of punishment, but is actually dead if she drops those counters.. I suppose there's nothing wrong with it, but it's just.. Strange.. and seems sort of unnecessary.. I'd consider going with just the other buffs..

nikodamus
]Hi. I thought I should make a Card for this model (Great Fluff) and so here is the front. Do you think I should make the back? PS To Dr A. Go Unspeakable Vault of Doom!
Ratty
Looks cool. The gap between the 2 lines of the name is a bit large. I had to use 2 seperate text layers last time I had a 2 liner in Photoshop and manually adjust the line height. It's a touch too large with Blood Crow
hippieshopper
I love that Template, Ratty. You do great work. How did you get the two different fonts to match up so well? Eg...spells and requirements Gimp is ok, but it takes too much work for me, and I am used to pdn too much. shekbo
Ok, this is a highly cool concept. My only concern is that it seems like a mix of Mcmourning and Zoraida, fluff and stat wise. I would recommend looking at the possibility of making her a henchman (a la ophelia) allowing her to be put in as a highly specialized master relying on strength of minions rather than her own personal power, or as a high cost, effective summoning partner for another master. I think she'd work wonders with Nicodem or Mcmourning, making their armies great summoning machines. She'd provide lots of support for Seamus, particularly, summoning while he bashes.
