quotemyname
Situation: Zoraida successfully casts Obey on another Master. Question: Can she spend her own soul stones on behalf of that master when taking the (1) action or (2) charge allowed by Obey?
WEiRD sKeTCH
Obey was errata'd to not be allowed to target Masters. "Obey Replace "Target model" with "Target non-Master model". And Add "The action selected may not cause the model to be killed or sacrificed as part of the action. This spell may be cast once per activation." Wodschow
As per the extra errata you cannot target masters with Obey. However I believe that in the similar situation when Hamelin uses his Pipes on Douglas or Nytmare he could indeed use Soulstones with them ruleswise.. It would be his own though. Edit: Ninjaed by some cuddly bear :/
quotemyname
Okay, I must have missed that errata, but it's good to know. So by extension, if she Obeyed a model that was not a master, but that does have use soul stone, she could spend her own stones on their behalf, yes? Example: Cassandra in a Colette crew. So there would be no cache for it to use.

I thought I remembered the answer to this question from the past being, the Obeyed model would use the SS of the person controling it right now. ie: If Zoraida Obey'ed a non-master model with Use SS and wanted that model to spend a SS on it's action, the Zoraida player would use their SS for it. magicpockets
karn's right, if you're controlling a model with use soulstones you can use your own ss to change/add the total. I'm in a rush at the moment but will find and post the link later

That's my understanding of it. It'd be kind of unfair if you could use your opponents soulstones through Obey.
TimeLapse
That's my understanding of it. It'd be kind of unfair if you could use your opponents soulstones through Obey. I was under the impession that when you obey (OR take over a model) it has no controler and is frendly to no one in eather list, so it would be my impression that it would not be able to use any soul stones at all since it would not have acess to freindly SS. Just the way I think of it, I could br wrong.
