Koyote
I am not 100% on the final composition of my Guild crew, but here is what I have so far. The brickwork is GS. The plastic bits are from various GW kits. The metal skulls are also GW. They come from the Pack of Skulls, Fantasy scenery kit. Left to Right: Perdita Ortega, Guild Guard, Guild Guard, and Ronin Left to Right: Death Marshal, Executioner, and Guild Austringer Edited April 16, 2012 by Koyote

Koyote
I am going to take Nino and Francisco out for a test drive Friday night. I had held back on fielding Nino because I do not like his ridiculous bowler hat and sunglasses. But then I stumbled upon what I believe to be Nino's original GS sculpt and I saw something interesting. The hat was different. And while the hat in the sculpt still looked a bit silly, it gave me an idea: replace the hat with a Death Marshal hat and cut away the shades. This isn't a terrific photo of my neo-Nino, but you can see how the new hat transforms the model from a buffoon into a proper Guildsman. Oh, and if you can't quite make it out, that is Nino's pet rat standing beside Nino. First Perdita and now Nino. Who knew that the Ortegas were such animal lovers? daemonkin
Very nice. Love the detail on some of the bases - Francisco's is lovely. Nice conversion on Nino too. D.

Koyote
I have added a Convict Gunslinger to my collection. It's a great model and has great stats. He probably won't make it into my 30 soul stone games, but in larger games I want to use him. Also, I am already thinking about my next crew and the Outcasts are at the top of my list. The Malifaux expansion, Rising Powers, has added a number of new strategies to the game. One such strategy is called Supply Wagon. In this scenario a crew must escort a supply wagon from their deployment zone to the center of the board. The wagon is represented by a "50 mm Wagon Marker." Fitting both a wagon and a draft animal on a 50 mm base is problematic, so I had to get creative. I still need to mount my "wagons" on 50 mm bases, but here is what I have so far: Since the primary purpose for the settlement of the Malifaux world is to mine soul stones and a mining theme has been reproduced in a number of the factions, I believe that an ore cart fits that theme nicely. The carts are propelled by either steam power or magic or both. The ore cart are from the 7th edition Warhammer Battle for Skull Pass boxed set. The shovels, hitches, and steering mechanisms come from an OOP 40K IG tank accessory sprue. The barrels are from Warhammer Ogre Bulls sprue. The packs come from the 40K Space Marine Attack Bike sprue.

Koyote
I put the supply wagon on a base. Also, I traded Nino's pet rat for a small waystone from a Warhammer Wood Elf sprue.

Werecat
Sweet bases. I've done those GS bricks before, and I don't envy you, ha ha.
Koyote
The Cemetery on Pumpkin Hill is both the final resting place of Malifaux’s indigent and the home to a native species of pumpkin nicknamed Stingy Jacks. The origin of this moniker was lost with the disappearance of Malifaux’s first wave of earth-side settlers, but many speculate that the name comes from the fact that the foul tasting fruit born by this plant is wholly inedible. It is said that even a starving Boyou pig will turn its prickly snout up to the rancid, pulpy flesh of a Stingy Jack. Nicodem, The Undertaker and Mortimer, The Gravedigger I do not care for the vulture on Nicodem's arm, it is just too big, so my Nicodem is holding a lantern. This is a case where less is more. Also, the handle of Mortimer's shovel is ridiculously long, so I shortened it. This will make the model easier to transport and less prone to inadvertent 'bending.' Mortimer's base reflects his occupation. Punk Zombies I added a GS hat to give the long haired Punk more of a Malifaux feel. And aside from repositioning the swords, these models are pretty much stock. Canine Remains Since these models have the ability to 'dig up' corpse counters, it is appropriate that their bases reflect their role in my crew. Koyote
Flesh Construct and Grave Spirit The Flesh Construct's 40mm base gave me an opportunity to add some fun bits to the model. I do not know why the Grave Spirit model has only one arm, but it don't care for the look, so I added a second arm. Crooked Men Mindless Zombies NOTE: If you haven't guessed it, the theme for my Rezzers is an Autumn/Halloween theme. The finished bases will be further ornamented with static grass and miniature fall leaves.
maxvon_d
You have mad basing skills. Really like the pumpkin/autumn theme for those rezzers. Now, let's get some paint on them...

Koyote
My problem is that there are very few Malifaux players in my gaming group, so rather than put paint on my Guild, I bought a second crew and deck of cards in order to better demo the game. Now that I have two playable crews, I can focus on painting them. Assuming of course that my other painting projects don't get in the way. Koyote
Rustle, rustle and snickity snack, The Carver strikes once and then strikes back. Slice, dice and guts a-twist, The Carver cannot be stopped. Not by kick or fist. Rustle, rustle and snickity snack, The Carver strikes once and then strikes back. Tremble, quiver and try to hide, The Carver will find you. Your escape, denied. Rustle, rustle and snickity snack, The Carver strikes once and then strikes back. The Carver Strikes At Midnight is one of Wyrd's 2010 Halloween Story Encounters. I love creepy scarecrow imagery! Too bad Wyrd doesn't make this model. If it were available, I'd build a Neverborn crew just to field it. Edited October 20, 2010 by Koyote

Lord Shaper
I love the conversions and basing you've done. If only I could find 2 of those carts!
Koyote
If only I could find 2 of those carts! I bought my carts from a seller on eBay. Since the cart plays no role in the game, when you can find them they are not that expensive. This despite the fact that the carts are OOP. Search eBay for "Skull Pass Cart" or "Dwarf Cart Warhammer" or some variant. I just searched eBay and found a seller in the UK selling 2 carts with a 'Buy It Now' price of $5.50 for each cart. Lord Shaper
I came across that one after I posted... the $12 shipping is what is holding me back atm heh... Thanks for that!
Koyote
As most of you probably know, the Rogue Necromancy is a new Rezzer Minion in Malifaux: Rising Powers. Sadly, Wyrd doesn't sell a model for it yet, nor is it on the 2010 or Jan 2011 release schedules. So, here's my own version of it. I started with the Sabertooth Cerberus model and added a serpent head (from the GW serpent swarm blister) and a rams head (from the GW plastic Beastman kit). I feel that the rams head is an improvement over the mule's head in Wyrd's sketch, but I suspect that the Wyrd production of this model will look awesome nonetheless. The model still needs a lot of work. The Razorspine Rattler neck is too short, but I don't think I am going to bother with that any. The Razorspine's nose isn't point enough -I need to reshape it. I plan to add some spines down its back and a stinger to its tail. I also plan to use GS to add patches of decaying flesh and the such.
