The Tale of Malifaux

A short rough draft of a alternate view on the Malifaux world. (before I read any of the fluff)

Many believe that The Guild rule Malifaux and its surrounding areas. What they don't know won't hurt them. There is the one known as The Hag. She Controls this world, this desolate place. She has our souls in her own hands. She controls the fates. She decides if you shall live or die. Few know where she is at. Many never even hear about the one called Zoraida. Even less have seen here with there own eyes. The ones who have usually have a change of fate. Often they come back mindless or dead in town square. The only evidence there is are wet and massive foot prints that lead into the bayou and then they're know where to be seen. Many ask what happen, but even the Guild doesn't know. They have sent men into the murky waters of the bayou, but every time the men are lost and never to be seen again. Some of the citizens disappear into the night with no control of their own body. She is always watching. She will only cackle at the pain she has caused. Till this day there is still these mysterious disappearances in Malifaux. None no why or how, but it still happens. The Guild tries cover ups for these miss haps. The only person who knows what is going on is Zoraida. The controler of this world.

This is a short story that came to mind when looking and reading about Zoraida in the Rulebook. Sorry for bad grammer or other mistakes I typed this fast.
