Ciaran
Wow.... What technique did you use? They look very "euro" to me in style and I'm curious about that.

jgemrich
Wow.... What technique did you use? They look very "euro" to me in style and I'm curious about that. Not sure what you mean. My style is a blend of techniques. This is "fast" table top painting for me. Loose brush strokes and layering w/ a bit of wash at times to bring the colors together. Rarely more then 3 layers a section. I believe a long way from Euro layering in very thin glazes and work ups. The zombie flesh is Reapers Triad. No blending between: Ghoul Flesh Moldy Flesh Bloodless Flesh light controlled wash/glaze of GW Red Gore: 10:1 dillution. Jean blue: Base: VMC Blue Grey Wash: GW Badab Black Recapture Base except lows w/ Blue Grey H1: Reaper Master Series Snow Shadow H2: Privateer Press Frost bite Rust is stippled and take about 2 min to complete a blade not including dry time. Base: Bolt gun metal Wash: Devlan Mud Wash: Thin (10:1 water) GW Dark Flesh Stipple Heavy: Vallejo Model Color Orange Brown Stipple light: GW Fiery orange slight touches of devlan mud for depth of color
theHman
Love the British punk! A great idea well executed. Can't wait to see more of your minis. And thanks for sharing your painting recipes. Always a welcomed addition to any paint thread imo.
