Korcheski
I just wanted to get clarification the rules for Mindless Zombie. So let's say i am playing Nicodem and I want to use the Reanimator spell to bring back a Punk Zombie. Can i assume that the Walking Dead rule allows me to sacrifice a mindless zombie to fuel the resurrection spell?
chaosobscuros
Mindless Zombies are treated as corpse counters, so yes, you could use them to fuel any spell that requires a corpse counter that is not being carried by a model.
mjungledog
They are next on my list of dead things to buy...
Iamwyrd
Yes and also watch out for lady j. Because she can cast her go away corpse counter ability and they go away.
ork56
are you sure about that? Mindless Zombies 'count as' corpse counters, they are not corpse counters themselves - what does her ability say? mind you, I havent played for a few months so my memory could be letting me down. chaosobscuros
It is true. Lady Justice and the Executioner can both sacrifice your MZs. Wendigos and Warpigs can also use the to make healing flips http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7935&highlight=rites
ork56
OK, same thing for Hamelin and his rats then?
chaosobscuros
Yup. Anything that targets corpse tokens.
hippieshopper
Yeah, I think Lady J and Fatty have something called Last Rites. Just BAM and every MZ in a 6" aura(I think) is gone. No resist, no chance, just goodbye zombies.

Yeah if you see those models on the table start carring you tokens and only leave one MZ around to make it not worth a whole ap getting rid of it. -Andrew
nilus
Yeah if you see those models on the table start carring you tokens and only leave one MZ around to make it not worth a whole ap getting rid of it. Isn't LJs Last rites a 0 action?
TimeLapse
Isn't LJs Last rites a 0 action? My lady J card says its a one action. So unless its been chaged that is what it is.
Sandwich
Last Rites is an all action, so no, if you've got a decent starting crew, use MZ to lure Lady J within 6" of Nico's Decay and his other goodies. Sure, she can take your Corpse Counters, but she's going to become another one in the process.
LastDinosaur
It's not an (all) action.. It's a (1) action. You're thinking of her spell. Restore Natural Order, or something like that.
