EricJ
Hi everyone, We are putting together the next issue of the Wyrd Chronicles, and in this edition we would like to answer some of the questions that you, the wyrd forum members, have. If you post questions in this thread, we will pick the best and give you the answers you'd like. Ask anything! (please not Malifaux rules questions, there is a FAQ questions thread for that ) Thanks! nilus
What are Wyrds future plans? Obviously we can all assume we will see more from Malifaux but are there any other game ideas in the works? If someone made a Malifaux video game what kinda game would you like it to be? FPS? RTS? RPG? Old School Point and Click(Like Monkey Island)? Who who win in a fight, Nathan or Eric?
WombatCowboy
How often should we expect new releases? Will they be in the form of new factions or extending current factions? How will you make new models enticing without the "codex creep" that other games have demonstrated, while simultaneously keeping old models pertinent? Angus Khan
How many books do you plan on making/have the material for? Will you be doing any "codex" style, faction-specific books to expand on each faction? How regularly will new models be released? Will they be usually be released several at a time, or individually as they are finished? Is Wyrd Chronicles ever going to have a regular release schedule? The Keebler
Are we going to see more models like Misaki and the Ronin (when released)? Kung Fu theater (a la Big Trouble in Little China) is favorite genre of mine and would seem to fit well in the Malifaux setting.
Sushicaddy
Nathan mentioned that he was already working on the next book, any teasers as to what might be in it? how do you come up with your concepts?

U.S. Male
Are there any plans for game accessories, in particular something akin to GF9's battlefield in a box. For a 3x3 table it might seen feesible to put together a cool themed terrain pack, either unpainted or painted, for a reasonable price. Is wyrd going to continue making random side miniatures that are not part of the mali'verse? (I.E., dire 'shrooms) malifaux has that new Orleans voodoo vibe in places, do they also have a popular sport franchise that continues to excite the locals only to be dissappointed when it falls apart at the end? Or, what sort of recration is there around town?

ork56
Are any of the Wyrd minis based on relatives or friends of the staff?
Grammaton Cleric
Will the fluff build on the current state of events state-side? I'm curious about how different the world is since magic has been around for years. How recognizable is the US? the World? Were magicians particularly secretive up till now? Is there a Dept of Magic in Washington? Can we get a model based on Capt. Love in the Mask of Zorro? Rogue US Cavalry officer who is a little too fascinated by the heads of defeated enemies. Silmarilias
Any chance of seeing some larger scale (40-54mm) collectors type pieces or even some busts joining the range at any stage ?, say along the lines of the twisted type stuff and the current range just in a larger scale . Beermonkey
Are we going to see the cannon characters continue to evolve? Are we going to see wiser or more experienced versions of the current Masters, a la Privateer Press style "Epic" characters?

Haight
Ask Wyrd: Any speculation for when a follow up release is going to be ? I know the book just came out, but is wyrd planning a regular yearly release, or is it too early to tell yet ? Will the release life cycle be made to fit a regular schedule, or will the life cycle be more project to project on an ad hoc basis, with the nature of release cycle being driven by the nature of the scope of a particular expansion's size (for lack of a better phrase) ? Hapless Peon
How much influence will the community have in determining the future direction of Malifaux? For example, I assume there will be an evolving narrative with each successive expansion, will members of the community through fan fiction or feedback have some influence on the stories and direction?
