DangerousBeans
Is there anything to stop me simply taking enough body parts with McMourning to raise a Flesh Construct in the first turn? It's cheaper than hiring one.
Keltheos
You can. Upside: cheaper. Downside: you're out at least 5 SS from your overall pool meaning less use for McM or his Totem (or future models that can use SS), the Summoned Model comes in Slow, you could always fail the casting - esp when you're lean on SS (would have 1 to use on the summon and then be out if you didn't save any from buying the Crew), could be countered/quick drawn, etc. It's doable, but not always the best use of SS. snakeking
In my last 2 games I have been able to get a 2nd Construct out by turn 2 and 3 and in 1 game a 3rd by turn 4 or 5. Clearly i had to generate the body parts which meant combat and also meant McM was in the thick of things. In my last game i held the card i needed until turn 3 to make sure i was successful. I definitely did not want to burn soulstones at the start, i think i cash in 2 for the 2 body parts in the last few games.
DangerousBeans
Ah. I read it wrong. For some reason I thought you could just buy them seperately from your SS. Never mind. Sorry!
