EricJ Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 (edited) ok, you can vote for AS MANY as you want in this poll, just vote for any mini line you own AT LEAST 5 MINIS from. If I missed one, (which I know I did) feel free to post and ask for it before you vote! Edited November 25, 2008 by EricJ Quote
Hinton Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 I started with Reaper and then moved to other lines. After a while, I was getting mostly just Wyrd and Hasslefree. Now, I don't buy any minis because I'm just too busy to paint anything right now. Quote
EricJ Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 yeah, that's largely where I'm at, get Wyrd to play with, and consider GW if I ever get back to a golden demon, but past that, not much. Quote
goblyn13 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 you forgot: Heresy Miniatures (http://heresyminiatures.com) Black Scorpion Miniatures (http://blackscorpionminiatures.com) Masquerade miniatures (http://masq-mini.de) Pulp Figures (http://pulpfigures.com/) Quote
supervike Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Urban Mammoth Void Alpha Forge Copplestone Quote
r2-j1 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) MSB Toys, Impact, and Crunch Waffle are the one that I have 5+ that are missing. Looking at my collection I have a lot of 1s or 2s from a lot of different places. Interesting. Edited November 26, 2008 by r2-j1 Quote
Draykin Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I started with the GW lineS. Then moved on to Reaper...specialy the Sophi figs. I got into Rackham minis after visiting the old Paint Matrix site JH had. Her current site directed me here and I hope to be able to order my first Wyrd figs this weekend. My very first fig was a D&D goblin from back in the '80's...tiny little thing cant have been more that 10mm. Quote
Scorpio Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Man, I own like exactly five Forgeworld figs, had you said six, I could have left them off. This also reminds me that I need to get rid of my old metal Rackham figs... Quote
v22TTC Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Ask me again next year and it'll probably be a tick in every box. Really surprised at some of those results! I've been rediscovering my first love as well, of late - spaceships! Mostly Full Thrust from GZG. Quote
Skya Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 The only company I also have bought at least five minis from that isnt listed there and is still actually producing minis, as I dont think all my Clan Wars matters for the kind of info you're looking for... is Thunderbolt Mountain. Quote
EricJ Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 updated with the few more requests Quote
thewartoad Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 As I voted, I have miniatures for the following lines: Heresy MSB Toys Masquerade Impact GW Wyrd PP Reaper Kraken Hell Dorado Infinity Hasslefree Dark Age Dark Sword Crocodile Games Enigma Freebooter Pulp City Rackham The majority of my miniature's are from Wyrd, Hell Dorado, Kraken and Rackham. Pulp City is moving into my #5 spot but with the upcoming Goblin releases from Freebooter...well we will just have to wait and see? Quote
DeafNala Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I would chime in with Olley's Armies [the BEST Dwarf minis], but they are SO impossible to get that I don't have five. BUMMER! :suspiciou Quote
Brushmistress Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 While I've already voted, I realize that "Foundry" isn't on here - I have soooo many of those guys, both historical and fantasy. Also Celtos & Tale of War would have made this list for me. Quote
GreyHorde Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 If you want to add older lines, I am still accumulating Grenadier, Lance & Laser, Mega Miniatures, Mithril, Prince August and Ral Partha. On hand 5+ (not adding, for soooo many reasons) there's Citadel, Fenryll, Magnificent Egos and RAFM. Quote
Kyle1.0 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 While I own more than 5 GW figures, I did not vote for them as I have not purchased anything from them in well over 10 years. (Grognard) I would like to see Otherworld Minitures on the list as they have a fine line of nicely sculpted retro feel D&D figures. I would also like to see Mad Puppet. They have a small but very nice line of figures and I think there are a lot of Wyrd Miniatures/Mad Puppet crossover fans. Quote
EricJ Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 Updated with several new ones, I've largely left off out of business companies, although I know a few have slipped onto the list. Quote
St. Anger Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Is this part of a 12-step program to get us to admit that we all have a problem with collecting miniatures??? Hi, I am Steve and I have way too many minis that I probably will never get a chance to paint.... Quote
Nightgoblin Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I've got more than enough minis from GW, but I ignore them for over two years. That's why I didn't vote for them... Quote
EricJ Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 yeah, starting to think I should have just made the poll what mini companies you've bought in the last year Quote
Kyle1.0 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Wow, thanks for quickly adding companies. Quote
Thryth Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Now that we are adding anything to the list : - Baueda Wargames Ltd. - Ghost Miniatures - Grenadier - Metal Magic - RAFM Quote
gregdorf Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I almost feel like I have a sickness after clicking the boxes. I do not think spartan games is in the list. I have not ordered yet, I will be able to add that to the list before the end of the year, need me some boats. Quote
Skya Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 yeah, starting to think I should have just made the poll what mini companies you've bought in the last year Yeah, I'm afraid that'd be a much shorter list, at least for me. Quote
