Guest The_Brain Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Hey there, since some people wanted to know how i did the green sword on my RH entry i made a little tutorial I just took one of my primed orc warriors and made this little picture: Step1: Priming: White... Thats a have-to, since you won´t see green layers on black Step2: I used GW Snot Green and diluted it until i could see through it and it has that milky "feeling" ( my english still sux lol ). Then i picked up a brush and got some paint on it. Next step was to put the brush on a toilet paper or something equal. ( So i dont have that much paint on the brush ) After that i took the side of my brush, put it on the part where the light should be, and then slided down to the shadows. I kinda pushed the color into the shadows so the "lightpart" was still white but everything else covered with a little green. I did this step like 3-4 times, everytime starting with the brush a little less away from the shadows ( making sure it becomes a blending ). Step 3: I used GW Scaly Green and used the same technique, but just for the lower part of the blade, getting a higher contrast. Step 4: Too bad the picture screwed it up. I took a mixture of snot green and white to make sure the blending between the green and white goes well. Now that was the work of 5 minutes. Of course you can make it a lot smoother and also mix black into the scaly green Greetings Brain Quote
