Well Skrivanek has directed me back on to these forums after I've been gone for a while and I figured I might as well drop back in with a picture of some recent work. Check the link below for a bigger version in my Gallery. She's from Reaper's Dark Heaven Line but I understand that non-Wyrd miniatures are welcome here too.

Comments, critiques and suggestions are always welcome

Pretty much all miniatures are welcome here. It's all about a love of the hobby (of course, Wyrd in particular :D).

Overall, it looks like a pretty good, clean paint job. Some very nice and vibrant colors.

We love seeing anything related to the hobby, so yeah, no Wyrd elitism here.

Nice work, only thing that really grabs my attention, and I'm cack at it myself mind you, is the freehand on the back of the instrument looks like it could be a touch finer. Still looks good, just the first thing my eye was drawn to.

Glad to hear all minis are welcome, as my current "to be painted" pile consist of mostly Reaper, Privateer and Infinity. I'll have to get around to my Wyrd Sculpts sooner rather than later I'm just not sure what colors I want to use yet. I should have some more up in the next few weeks. I'm really trying to improve my painting skills and I'm a fiend for feedback.

Hinton, do you spot anything on the fig that just doesn't sit right? I've got some ideas of how I might have done things differently after I was finished but it sounds like something on the fig just doesn't sit right for you.

Skrivanek. More Contrast huh? I'll show you more contrast!

Frustrated Father, by a touch finer do you mean the edges could be more crisp or the lines themselves could be more narrow I'm not sure what you mean exactly

No, not really. It's a good, solid paint job and I like the colors that you've used.

I'm not really good for giving tips or advice (or even in-depth critiques) with the paint jobs of others since my own painting needs so much work. Plenty of talented painters on here that can do that.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work on here.
