orb
Hi folks!! Been popping along here for a while, and finally decided I should make myself known! The name is Rob, typical 30something (just a little bit left (of being 30something, not politically (although I might be) oh shut up...OK)) with an 8 year old son and an unhealthy obsession with the "miniature" world, be it fantasy/sci-fi/historical and a variety of scales. I paint and sculpt. But I rarely finish anything......but AM getting better. Oh, I've been "not finishing" anything for about 27 years now....... Lots of familiar names on here....."hi" to all of you I know, and to those I'm yet to get to know..... And I still don't own any Wyrd minis.................I'll get my coat....... cheers Rob

EricJ
welcome welcome! What, you couldn't add some unfinished wyrd minis to the line-up? They're just as fun to half paint (even maybe more fun!) as any other minis out there
orb
Hi Guys.... I'm sure I will, but just got my hands on some GrosBill mini's (that lovely Archangel kimono wearling Cyril Abati sculpt, for example)......Its one worthy of a review on here
Ritual
Where did you get those?
orb
Direct from GBA themselves.......thanks to some investigating from Top Bloke Greenstuff!!!!! Here's the link he gave me; http://www.grosbillsassocies.fr/parabellum_jeu_figurines/royaume_celeste.php it's quite expensive, but most of the metal is in the buddha head and wings.....and she is quite tiny. Despite language problems and a delay (probably my fault but compensated by GBA) GBA were great to deal with, and the package took 5 days to reach me. It was a must have mini.......in fact I bought 2!!!!! Cos i knew I'd never be happy with my first paintjob;

Nathan Caroland
Welcome to the Wyrd Rob! Painting and sculpting, well you are certainly one up on me there, as frankly, I had trouble sculpting a pumpkin last year and that was pretty disapointing I could tell ya! Show off some of your sculpting and painting, curious to see it.
orb
Cheers Mr FF! the main piece I'm sculpting is for UK Golden Demon........so that'll stay under wraps for a couple of weeks..... and everything else is not quite finished  here's an old pic of something that is slowly progressing further;
