Run a MWS Qualifier! - The Word Series Committee is Looking for Volunteer TOs

Hello all! The World Series Committee (WSC) is looking for folks from the community interested in running online tournaments to contribute to our 2022 rankings and World Championship qualification.

The WSC is focusing its energy on our "Big Three," which will be 6-round events, scheduled for January (currently in progress), May, and September. But we would like to see smaller events with interesting formats happen throughout the year and we would like the community to have some say in what some of those events are.

If you are interested in running an online event as part of the MWS, review our Qualifier Requirements (attached) and fill our this form.

For those who want a tl;dr of our requirements:

• WSC must approve your event and schedule
• The event must be competitive focused and the format must be balanced
• You must use the MWS FAQ and MWS Code of Conduct
• Otherwise, you have control over the format, pools, and maps
• You will be responsible for organizing your event (reg, pairings, etc), but the WSC can help with rulings and CoC enforcement as needed

The WSC will be reviewing submissions on February 21st and contacting TOs to finalize details on February 28th. We will open a second submission period in May.
