0 solkan
Look Away specifies: Quote Until the End Phase, reduce the range of and effects generated by the target by 3" (to a minimum of 0"). There's the Pulse rules: Quote All models inside the Pulse’s area or overlapping the object generating the Pulse, excluding the object that created the Pulse, are affected by the Pulse as long as they are in the generating object’s LoS. and the Shockwave rules: Quote The Dropped Marker generates a equal to the Shock- wave’s value. Note, also, there's an example shockwave application: Quote As they are both within 1" and LoS of the Shockwave Marker (p1), Dashel Barker and the Guard Patrol must each pass a TN 13 Mv duel or suffer 2 damage. Note that phrase 'As they are both within 1" and LoS of the Shockwave Marker". Why does that matter? Because the Pulse rules have the requirement about being "in the generating object's LoS". The conclusion: The model performing the action which drops the shockwave marker does not generate the pulse, the dropped marker does. So, no. Cavatica's action is not "Target's shockwave actions become useless." Because, seriously, here are the search results for Shockwave: Shockwave 1: 21 Shockwave 2: 31 Shockwave 3:
0 Angelshard
Thanks. That was also my impression, but I wasn't certain I was reading it correctly.
