Hey Wyrdos,

This week, we’re looking for volunteers!

Are you planning on attending Gen Con from September 16th through the 19th?

Would you like to volunteer in our booth and get cool stuff for helping us? If so, you’re in luck, because we’re looking for volunteers!

We will be running events and demos for Malifaux, The Other Side, Through the Breach, Bayou Bash, and Vagrantsong. We are on the lookout for volunteers who know our games and are passionate about helping others learn them.

If you don’t know the rules to either of our latest board games but still want to help teach others how to play them, don’t sweat it! We will get you the rules in advance and make sure that you know the ins and outs of them well before the convention begins.

To volunteer, please use this form to let us know that you are interested, how many shifts you would like to take, and what games you are interested in volunteering for.

Next week, we will be sending out a sign-up of available slots, including slots for Set-Up and Tear-Down shifts.

Here are this year’s volunteer packages:

# of Shifts - Package

1 - Wyrd Shirt, Wyrd Face Mask, $40 Booth Credit

2 - Wyrd Shirt, Wyrd Face Mask, $80 Booth Credit

3 - Wyrd Shirt, Wyrd Face Mask, $120 Booth Credit, Gen Con Badge

4 + Wyrd Shirt, Wyrd Face Mask, $40 Booth Credit/per shift, Gen Con Badge, 2021 Miss Model

We will have a limited number of spots available for Set-Up and Tear-Down. Anyone who signs up for either (or both) will receive a goodie bag with an assortment of products, including an advanced copy of an unreleased Nightmare Edition Model. Those who are interested in these shifts must be able to do some heavy lifting (be prepared to do some physical labor)!

As a volunteer, you’ll be expected to be knowledgeable of our games (especially if you are demoing a game) and courteous to everyone who walks into our booths. You’ll need to show up for your shift as presentable (showered, Wyrd shirt – which we provide, etc.) and on time (and on time means a few minutes beforehand so we can get you sorted). During a shift, you can expect a variety of interactions with the guests in our booth that require you to sit, stand, or walk.

Volunteers are vital to the success of any convention. We look forward to each convention, this year more than most, as a reunion of sorts and an opportunity to work with individuals from our great community. You help us make our convention visits possible!

We can’t wait to see you there!
