Healing flip: cheatable?

Vangerdahast

Question

As the title says.

We have a discussion in our local group.

I would say Yes because nothing prevent it in the Healing rules and as per  Waldo's box on page 27 of the PDF, as long as there is no negative flips or it is not explicitily written, the flip is cheatable.

If I am wrong, please confirm me what rule I am missing.

Thanks.

You are totally correct.  If the healing flip is A/B/C format and there are no negatives, it is definetly cheatable unless the particular ability/action says otherwise.

Yup. It's possible that there was some confusion, conflating healing flips with prevention flips (which are NOT cheatable) in M3E.

I know I made that mistake. My Sidir survived much longer in a game I played early on, as I was cheating both prevention flips and Juggernaut over most of the game (he was essentially holding up 2/3 of the opposing crew singlehandedly, so the investment was reasonable).
