Since he doesn't really do much damage anymore and isn't quite as resilient (although still pretty darn good) is he a 9 stone scheme runner and runner hunter for you? With the current schemes and strats I'm not so sure you might be just as well off taking The Midnight Stalker for the exact same purpose. RisingPhoenix Posted June 15, 2020 Report Share Posted June 15, 2020 The Midnight Stalker is a special sort of durable. As in, the sort that needs a lot of investment. Sure he's 8 stones to A&D's 9, but he dies so much easier, and Eternal is so much worse than A&D's demise. He also can't be used as a wound battery as easy as A&D - Levi can transfer up to 4 health off A&D, killing it, and letting it reform immediately. Midnight doesn't work nearly as well - it costs you a card and leaves you with a midnight stalker that still has some damage on him. The nice change is he lost incorporeal, so now he's actually a good tar pit. You can just plop him in front of something, and they can't just walk through him. As long as he can stay within 14" of a table edge, he's a fat annoyance. Definitely not a brawler anymore though, which sucks. Leve + SoDP Desolation Engine + SoDP Scavenger Rusty Alice / Emissary 6ss cache That leaves me with 14-15 stones. It seems like he would die pretty quickly. Terrifying 13 and HtW + printed for Entropy in Defense. Yes, he has Defense 3, but models without Ruthless are not going to take him down in 2 attacks. Also with SoDP he heals 2 every time he kills, which allows you to use necrotic decay and recover the damage while bumping yours to 4/6/7 or go for the Consuming Touch and heal 3/4/5 when you kill. With some extra support healing from Leveticus and the Emissary, he always killed me enough models or was annoying enough to allow me to score some points. I've used Marlena to good effect with him with Levi's Kansas City Shuffle, since she's pretty tanky and people are always a little jittery to attack her because of her trigger.
