After Yan Lo’s beard drove enough people crazy to become it’s own meme, and a rather funky shirt, I’m curious about what other models gave people recurring nightmares of their assembly.

My nomination is the arachnid legs poking out of the toolbox and satchel with the Union Steamfitters.  All four of them also have a specific fit despite being almost microscopic.

I lost 3 of the spider legs off the Steamfitter, just put a glob of glue on the remaining one and stuck it on.
Minako Rei and her 3 pieces of what I think is belt was a hassle trying to figure out where they went, the position in the render was different to the artwork and every built model I looked at had them differently, I just did the same as the spider leg and put them wherever.

Syringes of Necrotic Machine and the fingers of the Night Terrors were challenging.

The bone piles were not fun to assemble for me, especially the one with all limbs on the floor, like "on all fours" (but with more limbs). I had quite a lot of trouble figure out where to put all the limbs on the torso

The Goryo were the most frustrating assemblies I've experienced, bar none.  All those parts intermingled, the cloaks that wouldn't stick the base, the ghosts that had to be held up while drying.  On the plus side, I did get better at pinning from that experience.

I have a bit of a limited choice on this subject as only just getting back to wyrd.

So far the little pile of bears that make up the bearly together was a bit of a pain, as an honourable mention why does the war wabbit rider need his ears attaching that was a pain.

I had a spider leg from the steamfitter fly off while I was cutting it, looked for it for 5 minutes before looking back at the sprue to realise that it had actually just folded over itself and was tucked underneath. Those things (there are four of them) are so small I thought it was just flash.

Add the Dead Doxies to the list.  Lining up the fingers on one of the heads was bad enough, but oh god that separate top hat.

I haven't assembled them yet, but I have both the Arcane and Carrion Effigies on my desk, and their spindly limbs and tiny accessories frighten me.

Nellie's printing press, Necrotic machine, Goryo, Night terrors (ish) and Dead Doxies. The steam trunk is always notorious and the skulls on Abuela's hat, oh and the belt buckles on Santiago/guild steward.
