I’m a returning player but haven’t played since m1e, but have a history of miniature games so picking it back up again shouldn’t be too bad. My issue is my partner has taken an interest in malifaux and loves the lore, she is currently reading everything she can get her hands on and has currently settled on arcanists. I’m trying to find a good way to teach her the rules without overwhelming her and potentially putting her off, is it best to start with a couple of different models that I can reasonably balance or should I be trying something different ?
