4thstringer
@Regelridderen did an awesome thread in the NB forum about models and expectations vs. reality for what they do. I'm hoping we can get the same kind of thing going here.

It’s all theory and no practice - although, when Alan and his Witnesses becomes available on spec order. Lucius will finally hit the table. eddy
Expected Sonnia to be great ranged piece. She is not. Toooooo damn slow and low dmg track. Miss m2e Sonnia 1

Miss m2e Sonnia Yeah, her range reduction and aura definitely make her more of a control piece. I do find it is harder for opponents to not bunch up and let her blast on them, and she doesn't need moderate to blast now.
Dark Reaper
She doesn't need to be fast. She seldom moves, and if you have to, you probably didn't bring the pieces you need to move her around the board. Her dmg track is only 2/3/5, but she should be focused for most of her shots and she should provide a lot of burning for her summoning ability. 4thstringer
Alright, I've been thinking about this more. Here is what I have: Lady J:. Lady J is not a good choice to go after the opposing master or beefy hench. Not that she can't do it, but it's the support models that she really specializes in taking out. Jury: she gets your attention with the damage to summons and buried models. Where she really earns her money is her def trigger and her ability to mess up opponents triggers. Guardian: min 3 greatsword? Armor 2? Must be a beater right? Nope. It's all about the toss and the protect. Very good utility piece. Perdita- with her finger on the trigger, she is a model that will protect your crew right? Nope. If you use that, you basically are flushing activations down the drain. Like LJ, she is at her best if you are sniping out support pieces. And if you think if her like last edition, with 7 def and wp and El mayor, charging in for the additional ram, you'll be sorry. You still wanna stay close to Frank, to give him additional actions with a por el.
Angelshard
For perdita I think her quick reflexes trigger is a lot stronger than critical strike. She's fairly certain of hitting with Stat 7 and the build in plus lets her take several models down to where the rest of the crew can finish them off or she can just shoot two models several times. Changeling i first saw as just another issue command. They're actually quite good sending off on their own as schemers thanks to all their defensive tech. Or using for claim jump. I think it usually is too, but if I have a high ram, a severe and a Target I can one shot with double crit strike, I'm gonna take it. Miss m2e Sonnia Disagree with this... kinda... If you're lucky enough to get some high cards in hand and focus, then yeah, Sonnia is an absolute beast at range... Sadly though, it requires a fair amount of setup. I typically go for two focused shots a turn unless she's engaged. I like the Steward to give her at least 1 Focus (she typically supplies the second), and a recently I like the Pathfinder for pushes (4" first turn is usually enough to get her in range, then 2" is usually enough to get her out of engagement). If she's engaged, then yeah, I like to play whack-a-mole with her sword, hoping I get enough burning to Scorch it. Oh, that aura is so, so very good! Haven't actually got that great a use out of Smothering Flames yet though... I'm sure it will come up though!
