haskerman Posted October 12, 2019 Report Share Posted October 12, 2019 Being rather new to the game, im thinking of going to a tournament but cant get a clear calcification of how you take lists. do you go to a tournament with one faction, then can declare masters/crews from game to game? or have set crews to pick from etc? It depends on the tournament. Some tournaments have you commit to a single faction, a single leader, or a single list before you play any games. But if there aren't any special arrangements like that, then at a tournament the only difference is that you're effectively starting the game at Step E because the table's already been set up, and almost every tournament I've heard of provides predetermined scheme pools and strategy choice. However there are other formats, it's up to the organizer.
