Popular Post Boomstick
Thanks @Viruk And @Scatterbrain! They were a lot of fun to get done, even if the Raspy friends are a bit early in the season. Quick update for me: Kaeris' buddies and the Captain are all built and primed, along with a bunch of terrain for an interior bar table. No clue how much it'd be worth, but I'm also not meaning to pledge it because air brushing and then drybrushing a lot of wood feels like cheating 😋
Purple Mist
Hello, WIP of a couple of ruin scenics I'm going after. I tried to get a gostly look but some colours are masked by the strong, artificial and direct light I'm using for these pics. Hope to improve the overal aspect with washes. Wooden and metal details till to be worked.

Caedrus
@Purple Mist: That scenery looks awesome. The bust in particular is wonderful. Would 40SS reflect the effort? Oh, and do you have a total for September? @Boomstick: I think 40SS would be fair for the pure time commitment. Where'd that scenery come from? Caedrus
@Wintergloom: The blues, the greens, the purples of this Archie. Absolutely exquisite work.
Boomstick
@Caedrus that sounds fine to me! The terrain is a combination of barrels and tables from WizKids, barrels by FiredragonGames on Etsy, and a bar set and band stage/instruments from 3dEgos, also on Etsy.

Really makes the effect in my opinion.
Popular Post PetitDalek
Hahaaa, I made my first display board. I am happy, it really ties the crew together. Behold, the glory of December (in October) Originally, I wanted to start with a swamp board for Ophelia, but had no resin on hand. Which turned out to be a good thing, because last weekend I found a toy boat on a flea market, which will be perfect for her board. Seeing the board made me want to update my december crew, so I actually spent more time updating their look, than making the board. Things looked pretty dire midway through the transformation and i regretted everything, but it turned out OK in the end. I am leaving away for a week, so i'll probably won't be able to to finish anything more, but my other WIPs are going well too.
Diddick
Congrats @Wintergloom a well deserved price!@PetitDalek amazing display (and crew!)@Caedrus sadly i'll use my mulligan this month. I'm in the middle of a refurbishment at home and moving flats, so i'm pretty thight on time, plus I0'm using all my limited hobby time on the "Rotten harvest" entry. I'll try to duplicate my points for November to compensate 👌 1

Popular Post Caedrus
Caedrus, reporting in! I knew this month was going to be a big one. So many life pressures stopping me from putting pigment to plastic! However, I found the time to get this one model done, at least. And hey, who knows? I might find some more time in the next week. Like many of you, I have a stealth project underway... For the moment, though, here's 9SS of Toshiro, the Japanese Undead Pirate. Yar! I had quite a bit of fun with this model. He's my colour / basing / thematic testbed for an upcoming Brine and Bones experiment. So, a slightly more cutlass-ey sword, a piratey bandanna, and a harpoon through the chest completes the model. I went with a fresher-undead look for this guy, rather than the hard-core rotting effects. Most of all, I had fun playing around with a little bit of freehand. It could have been neater, but I'm honestly pleased with the results. Have a great rest of October, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you've all done, because what I've seen so far this month ( @Wintergloom, @PetitDalek, @Viruk) is jaw-dropping! Caedrus.

As in, I was at my computer waiting for the paint to dry and thought it was funny coincidence to see you working on the same pieces. I wasn't making any kind of comment about your approach to the models or how close to finished they were. And for the record, here are mine; looking an absolute shambles with no further progress these past two weeks. 😀
Polar43
I'm so disappointed I fell off the wagon so early on. I'm amazed by the quality of all the work you guys are doing, I was already impressed at the start of the year but you guys are getting next level. Truly great job pushing this @Caedrus, hope I can join again next year
Nikodemus
@Caedrus Order Initiate done for 7ss Difference a few hours makes: Haven't touched a brush in maybe a month. Burnout's a pain as I believe we discussed here a few months back. This one was fun enough though. Here's hoping it gets the ball rolling. Very enjoyable model. Very well defined sculpting and not a lot of doodads to worry about. Times like this makes me wish Wyrd credited sculptors on the box 5

Nel caso specifico il commento poteva solo suonare offensivo. Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare @Caedrus per le parole di incoraggiamento e per l'uso della mia madrelingua. Auguro un felice proseguo a tutti gli altri.
