Perdita "Finger on the trigger"

Giovanni Canzanella

Question

Hello folks, I have a doubts about Perdita's Tactical Action "Finger on the trigger" (FotT, for short).
Having Perdita the ability "Gunfighter", does that mean she can actually use "Finger on the Trigger" on an enemy that declared a charge on her?
If I understand the text correctly, Perdita CAN use FotT on an enemy that charges on her, but then she CANNOT attack OTHER charging enemies.
Is that all correct? Thanks for clarifying :)

Gunfighter does not let her use a:ToS-Range: action while engaged.

It allows her to treat her :ToS-Range: actions as :ToS-Melee: actions. Finger on the trigger allows her to take a :ToS-Range: action.

If she uses gunfighter it is no longer treated as a :ToS-Range:, so she can't use finger on the trigger to generate the action

So, in short you can stop her using finger on the trigger by engaging her.

And just to nip the "why can't it be both" argument in the bud, if it was both you'd never be able to declare it while engaged as :ToS-Range: actions can't be declared while engaged.
